Shifting Study # 3 — Articulated Patterns
Goal: Slide on 1 to each new position and perform the required pitch with the new note’s proper finger.
By timing the motion of the hand, along with the setting down of the target note’s finger, perform the shifts as Articulated Shifts.
For an added challenge: Repeat the study slurring 2 notes per bow.
