Pitch Pattern Repeats
One Slash with 2 dots, means to repeat the previous measure.
Two Slashes with 2 dots, means to repeat the last 2 measures.
Slashes within a measure, means to repeat the prior beat.
Multiple Measures of Rest
A bar written across a measure with a number placed above it, means to rest for the number of measures indicated.
When Multiple Measures of Rests coincide with rehearsal letters, they are split into separate rest blocks.
Multiple measure rests are also called Rest Blocks.
