G MAJOR 12

Boosting Performance Skills
Default 2
Now that everyone has learned pitch locations for all 15 pitches in a Two Octave G Major Scale, it is time to gain experience combining these new note patterns and boost performance skills.
When examining new music, identify if the pitches move by step or by leap. Read and adhere to pitch fingering specifics and train yourself to recognize if shifting is required in order to perform note passages.
Always break it down. Pitches move up or down, by steps and by leaps. Notes change in rhythmic duration, may include bow direction details with slurs, dynamics, articulations, and additional composer instructions.
Default 6
Performance levels are boosted, by practicing multiple repetitions of technical and musical passages.
The Skill Boosters have technical challenges that are common for all string players and some that are specific to individual instruments. Alternate fingering options are included for additional training.
When boosting skills, establish a plan of what you are attempting to accomplish. Having clear goals in mind, trains your physical self to put into action what your mental self is learning.
