PIZZICATO DYNAMIC CONTRAST EXERCISE
Advice for Conductors: Be certain to direct dynamic ranges clearly by varying the size of the beat. It is helpful to raise your left hand higher to indicate louder dynamics and to lower your left hand to show softer dynamics.
Remember to vary pizzicato fingertip location and touch intensity in order to create effective dynamic contrast.
