BRIDGES 2

Bridges are never glued onto the instrument! If you believe that the bridge on your instrument is not standing properly, is leaning, or needs adjustment, do not attempt to adjust this by yourself. Alert your teacher or bring it to a reputable repair shop for an adjustment.  Bridges are never to be handled by students!

It means to hold.
My musician friends have even called me “Bridge with Those Smiling Fermata-Eyes!”
Yes, I am quite flattered.  However, the reason for my Fermata-Eyes is to represent my holding something, specifically, the bridge.
Oh, I should mention my Top-Hat. It represents the four strings and also the edge of the instrument’s fingerboard.
