CELLO POSITION 7

When the cello is in playing position, the lowest peg on the side closest to you will be located very close to your left ear.

Many professional cellists find it extremely helpful to place the peg lightly against their left ear during times when the other instruments in the orchestra are playing very loudly.
This enables them to hear the sound of their own instrument more clearly, making it easier to play in tune.
Before you try this for yourself, let me tell you a bit about my name, Scroll, and its many meanings. I also will share with you a few traditions that I learned from my ancestors.
