D MAJOR 2

Instrument-Tape Placement for D Major
Place instrument-tapes straight and accurately. Overlap the end of each tape and adhere the tapes to the neck. Press tapes to place, flush with the fingerboard.
It is a good idea to pre-cut, peel (as needed) and line-up several tapes ahead of time. Tapes are placed under the strings and slid to the proper place. Sliding tapes from the edge of the fingerboard up makes it simpler.

VIOLIN Instrument-Tape Placement
To begin, tune the Open Strings. Find tape locations on the Open A-String.
Find the string location where pressing the string onto the fingerboard produces the note B, when you pluck the A-String.
Now repeat the process and find the location for C#.
Now find the location for D.
With practice, you can gauge tape locations quickly.
