MECHANICS EXERCISES 6

Instrument Position Exercises

Now that everyone has gained foundation layer knowledge, it is time to apply this know-how and direct it into motion. All physical actions involved in string playing, involve the need to be comfortable to move freely.
Physical leverage is able to be applied to your playing motions successfully, when confident with your instrument. You will be learning two short exercises that help to focus your attention on being physically well grounded, and also well balanced.
Remember to remain flexible, follow directions and try to allow your own most natural results to follow. Now prepare to enter a Quest Mechanics Layer, where you will learn how to perfect your own best instrument set-up.
Always remember to direct Weight into Motion. Get ready to use your imagination and apply science know-how.
“Grounding Your Roots” and “Balancing Your Branches”Exercises are ahead.
