Stay Close to the Strings
Letting your fingertip hover over the string that you are about to play prepares you for the motion of pizzicato.
Touch Intensity Variance
Simply touching the string and tapping it lightly produces a soft sound. Always pizzicato firmly enough for the note to be audible!
When thinking ahead, you will play with precise rhythm. Always be ready to play!
Lighter Touch = Softer Sound
Default 8
When very soft pizzicato is desired, you can simply depress the string against the wood of the fingerboard before the note you wish to create, and then release this contact to create the note. This subtle pizzicato effect helps to create pianissimo and softer dynamics.
Firmer Touch = Louder Sound
