Since Expressive Shifts are arc-like in motion, when they are to be performed, I will appear.

Challenge: (After performing Open D), shift to each pitch with the 1st finger.


Always plan ahead! Think all scale steps. [WW½ WWW½]
As you perform each note, visualize the location of the next pitch ahead of time. Shift your entire hand accurately and play in tune.
