VIOLIN AND VIOLA PLAYING-POSITION QUESTION # 2

IS MY INSTRUMENT IN FAIR TERRITORY?
Just as in sports, in playing-positions there are regions that are considered “fair” territory and others that are “out of bounds.” Proper playing-position physical regions can be determined in a similar way.
Eventually, while performing extremely advanced playing techniques, there are minor variations and adjustments to instrument positioning.
In the diagram, the area outlined in green represents

FAIR TERRITORY
If necessary, make minor adjustments to the angle of your playing-position set-up steps. Remember that the instrument rests on you and must be positioned properly so that you can play comfortably.
ALWAYS PLAY IN FAIR PLAYING-POSITION TERRITORY!
