Relax and lower your bow-hand so as to allow your center and ring finger to land and arc over the bow. 
= ANCHOR
Keep your index finger and pinky in the air, just above the bow. Let your thumb hang loosely underneath the bow. Feel the weight of your hand centered on the bow.
Arc your thumb up to the bow and make contact with the tip segment of your thumb.

You just created your bow-hand fulcrum.  Keep your index finger and pinky above the bow.

Set your index finger within the Index Zone.
Remember to pronate your hand,  leaning the weight of your bow-hand onto the stick.

Violin and Viola Players: Set your pinky on your side of the top of the stick, tilting the bow slightly away from you.

Cello and Bass Players: Set the tip of your pinky over the bow, joining with the ring  and center fingers, tilting the bow slightly towards you.
