Dedicated focused practice, brings greater success. Remember to have fun while working hard.

Playing a musical instrument is an art. The bowed strings are known for their keen ability to simulate the human voice.

Find your own string voice, and practice to make it sing beautifully and expressively.

Since you are much more experienced with the bow, this is a good time to revisit the idea of performing music as Painting with Sound.  Be a music artist!

Once you complete Mastery Checkpoint Three, you will learn how to create different pitches on all strings. Open string bowing practice prepares you to be an accomplished string player. Bow mastery is what makes the Strings Sing!

After the Checkpoint, please note Scroll has prepared and provided for reference, a list of bow strokes you probably will encounter in your bowing adventures.

Always improve your bowing virtuosity. Enjoy Mastery Checkpoint Three.
