Perform steady eighth notes while connecting 4 slurred notes in each bow direction.
In Common-Time, there is emphasis on the first beat of the measure and a secondary accent on the third beat.
Play with strong fingers and lean well-leveraged bow-arm weight into all changes of bow direction.
Perform the etude at all tempos. Flow the bow and play steady.
