Sharps always progress in the same order and start with F#.
The last sharp notated in Sharp Key Signatures is the Leading Tone, which is a half-step beneath the Tonic.
How to Find the Major Key for Sharp Signatures
The pitch one half-step higher than the last sharp is the Tonic. All scale-degrees proceed from their letter to the next letter.
